Uzbekistan’s para athletes competing at the World Championships
On August 26, the ICF Paracanoe World Championships began in Poznan, Poland.
At the prestigious event, with over 200 brave para athletes from 30 countries, 8 members of the Uzbekistan national team will compete for medals.
Azizbek Abdulkhabibov, Oybek Yuldashev, Khasan Kuldashev, Turabek Nazarkulov and Khaytmurot Sherkuziyev, along with women’s national team members Farida Abduraimova, Shakhnoza Mirzayeva, Irodakhon Rustamova and Shakhzoda Mamadaliyeva, are getting ready to compete at the World Championships, taking place until August 30.
Nine Uzbek para athletes are representing the country at the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where para-rowing events started yesterday.
The competitions will run until August 30.
