Uzbekistan – partner country for B-Travel Barcelona 2026
The international tourism exhibition B-Travel Barcelona 2026 took place in Barcelona, Spain, where Uzbekistan participated for the first time as a partner country.
The event, which took place from March 20 to 22, brought together representatives from the tourism industry, specialized companies, and international organizations from various countries. This year, Uzbekistan was a key participant in the exhibition, showcasing its rich historical and cultural heritage as well as the modern opportunities within the national tourism sector.
Special attention was given to promoting the cities of the Great Silk Road – Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Tashkent. Visitors were also introduced to national traditions, cuisine, and new tourist destinations. The partner status allowed Uzbekistan to host a series of large-scale presentations and business negotiations with international participants.
From the first day of the exhibition, eight tourism companies participated in the national stand. They showcased their products, built new business relationships, and promoted the country’s tourism potential in the European market. Uzbekistan’s stand was visited by representatives of tourism organizations in Catalonia, the Barcelona Tourism Board, relevant agencies, diplomats, and high-level foreign guests.
As part of the business program, a dedicated presentation on Uzbekistan’s tourism potential was held, attended by about 60 leading tour operators from Barcelona. Participants received information on key destinations, new tourism products, transportation and logistics opportunities, and the country’s investment potential. The presentation included video materials and generated significant interest among professionals.
