Uzbekistan and India strengthen cooperation in forensic science
Representatives of the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training of Legal Personnel met with representatives of India’s National Forensic Sciences University.
Amid globalization and the development of digital technologies, combating emerging cross-border forms of crime requires a radical modernization of forensic science and criminology. In this regard, Uzbekistan has been expanding the scope of its international cooperation in recent years, strengthening its strategic partnership with India – one of the world leaders in this field.

The two countries cooperate in forensics and criminology through scientific research and training highly qualified specialists.

During the meeting, the two institutions signed a Memorandum of Cooperation providing for information sharing and discussions on future collaboration. It will serve as a basis for strengthening their ties, exchanging experience, and carrying out joint projects.
Information on the meeting’s results and the agreements reached was submitted to the Ministry of Justice according to the established procedure.
