Uzbekistan and China enhance collaboration in technical regulation

The Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation hosted a meeting with a delegation from the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC). The participants discussed prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation, the adoption of best practices, and the implementation of joint projects.

The parties exchanged views on standardization, conformity assessment, certification, metrology, and laboratory testing.

Special attention was given to improving the system for technical testing in the automotive industry. The participants emphasized the importance of sharing experiences and implementing international standards.

The Chinese delegation was invited to become acquainted with the activities of a complex in Pskent district of Tashkent region, specializing in conducting technical tests of cars.

During the talks, an agreement was reached to introduce innovative solutions and advanced technologies, as well as to implement joint programs and projects in technical regulation.
