Uzbekistan and Belgium expand interparliamentary cooperation

An online meeting was held between the interparliamentary cooperation groups “Uzbekistan – Belgium” and “Belgium – Uzbekistan”.

During the dialogue, it was noted that relations between Uzbekistan and Belgium have been steadily developing in recent years.

The parties exchanged views on expanding interparliamentary cooperation, intensifying contacts among cooperation groups and relevant committees, and organizing regular dialogue and mutual visits.

Particular attention was paid to the dynamic development of cooperation in the trade and economic, tourism, education, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to strengthen interparliamentary dialogue.
