Surkhandarya to host the Baysun Spring Festival

The International Folklore Festival “Boysun Bahori” will be held from May 1 to 7 and will bring together over 100 folklore groups from more than 40 countries.

The event will feature performances by folk groups, national games, craft exhibitions, and concerts.

Craftswomen from Baysun prepared a record-breaking patchwork quilt, “quroq”, measuring 33 meters in length and more than 5 meters in width for the festival. It was created by 12 craftswomen under the guidance of Nazokat Sobirova.

The organizers are actively preparing for the festival, striving to make it vibrant and unforgettable.
