Saida Mirziyoyeva inspected social projects and infrastructure in Khorezm
During a working visit to Khorezm region, the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, reviewed progress in implementing the President’s instructions aimed at the region’s social development.
According to her, more than 100 issues in the region have already been resolved. However, work in this direction will continue.
“Regardless of the number and scale of the facilities, our team will thoroughly and substantively review everything”, Saida Mirziyoyeva noted.

As part of the visit, several social facilities were inspected, including School No. 2, which requires major repairs, and Preschool Educational Organization No. 49 in Khanka district, which is in an unsafe and abandoned condition.
The delegation also visited the Urgench branch of the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan. Currently, classrooms and the boarding school are housed in the same building. In the future, an additional building is planned to ensure the separate, full-fledged operation of the institutions.

Special attention was given to the “Urgench-1” pumping station, which supplies drinking water to more than one million people. The need for its urgent modernization was emphasized.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with regional and district leadership, during which key regional indicators and existing challenges were reviewed.
“All the issues raised today must be resolved as soon as possible. It is important to speak openly about problems, address them together, and resolve them as a priority”, stated the Head of the Presidential Administration.
In addition, the delegation in Khiva reviewed the condition of the sites within the Ichan Kala historical complex. Aspects of developing a master plan for the historic center, as well as the restoration and museification of monuments, were discussed.

It was also noted that a program to protect cultural heritage will be developed in Khorezm region:
“To preserve our common roots and unique national identity, a set of measures to conserve cultural heritage will be implemented”, emphasized Saida Mirziyoyeva.
