Promising sectors for entrepreneurship and investment
As part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan presented an analytical review of promising areas for entrepreneurship and investment in the country.
The results of the analysis show that in some commodity markets, domestic production does not fully meet domestic demand. In particular, a low share of production was recorded for 94 product types last year and in the first months of the current year. In addition, studies were conducted on 20 product types for which the domestic market remains insufficiently saturated and the competitive environment insufficiently developed.
Based on appeals from free economic zones, 105 commodity markets were analyzed, with high demand identified in 55 of them.
Such analytical materials help entrepreneurs identify market niches, develop the production of import-substituting goods, and make investment decisions based on accurate data.
