Progress in implementing tasks in the oil and gas industry reviewed
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was briefed on the progress of implementing tasks set for the oil and gas industry.
On January 30 of this year, priority tasks were set to increase the operational efficiency of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, expand hydrocarbon reserves, and develop the industry using modern technologies. On February 23, initial progress on implementing these tasks was reviewed, and additional instructions were provided.

At today’s presentation, the implementation process of these measures was analyzed again.
The ongoing work to expand geological exploration, identify new fields, increase the efficiency of existing wells, and ensure stable production volumes was discussed separately.

Information from industry leaders was reviewed, noting that since the beginning of this year, 3D seismic exploration has been completed over an area of 471 square kilometers, 11 new wells have been commissioned, repair work has been carried out on 20 wells, and five technological measures have been implemented.
Particular attention was paid to efforts to increase operational efficiency in the industry, optimize enterprise costs, and strengthen financial stability.

The Head of State instructed the responsible officials to continue implementing the assigned tasks and planned measures, based on precise calculations and strict discipline.
