President of Uzbekistan to pay a working visit to Kazakhstan

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Astana on November 5-6.

The President of Uzbekistan will attend a meeting of Central Asian leaders as part of the Aqaba Process, focusing on ensuring security in artificial intelligence, countering its use for terrorist and extremist purposes, and strengthening international and regional cooperation to address emerging technological challenges and threats.

The Aqaba Process is an international initiative launched in 2015 by King Abdullah II that aims to strengthen international cooperation in combating terrorism and extremism, exchange experience, and coordinate joint security efforts.
