President attends Namangan International Flower Festival
During his visit to Namangan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the traditional flower festival.
The festival’s duration increased from 3 days in 2018 to 40 days in 2025, resulting in a rise in foreign tourists from 25,000 to 800,000 and domestic tourists to 6.4 million.

The next objective is to attract 1 million international tourists from over 50 countries and 7 million domestic visitors, organize more than 150 events, and increase service revenue to 8 trillion UZS.
This year’s 65th International Flower Festival is celebrated in a festive atmosphere. It started on May 24 and runs until July 12.

Guinness World Records has officially recognized the festival. During the record attempt, representatives from Guinness observed for a month as residents of Namangan manually planted over 29 million flower seedlings. The record was then verified.
Forty-five mahallas in Namangan focus on floriculture, involving 16,000 households and employing 21,000 people. In March and April, these households established 4,683 greenhouses on their land, growing 120 million flower bulbs. This activity generated an extra 300 billion UZS in income for residents.

During the festival, the Head of State toured the floral displays, themed venues, and exhibitions, and greeted residents involved in floriculture, entrepreneurs, participants, and guests.
