Power of Unity 2026 military exercises kick off in Azerbaijan
The opening ceremony for the joint military exercises, The Power of Unity 2026, involving troops from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, took place in Azerbaijan.
According to AZERTAC, the event was held at the Gyzylgaya Training Center in Khojavend district. The national anthems of the participating states were performed during the official ceremony.
The importance of joint exercises for developing military cooperation among the three countries was noted. Special attention was given to improving the practical skills of military personnel, exchanging experience, strengthening professional and friendly ties, and increasing interaction between units in implementing joint tasks.
Following the official part, the servicemen participating in the exercise held a ceremonial march-past.
The ceremony ended with a concert by the song-and-dance ensemble of the Army Ideological and Cultural Center named after Hazi Aslanov of Azerbaijan.
