Partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States on water-saving technologies
As part of U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s visit to Uzbekistan, important meetings in Samarkand focused on bilateral cooperation across various sectors are taking place.
Nuriddin Kushnazarov, Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Sergey Stefanov, Commercial Director of Valmont Industries for CIS and Türkiye, and company representative Saidibrohim Eshkhodjayev.
The parties discussed mechanizing irrigation processes, introducing water-saving technologies, and using water resources efficiently.
They also explored opportunities to expand mechanized irrigation systems across Uzbekistan’s regions, modernize existing infrastructure, and implement joint projects.
