Nodirbek Abdusattorov to face Nihal Sarin

After the fourth round of the Quantbox Chennai Grand Masters 2026 international tournament, which is underway in Chennai, Nodirbek Abdusattorov is in fifth place on tiebreaks with two points.

Playing with the white pieces against the reigning world champion, he drew the game on move 41.

In the fifth round, N. Abdusattorov will play with the black pieces against India’s Nihal Sarin.

Alireza Firouzja of France currently leads with three points. Arjun Erigaisi follows him with 2.5 points, while Nihal Sarin, Dmitry Andreikin and N. Abdusattorov have two points each.

The seven-round tournament will continue until July 22.
