Meeting in China
The inaugural meeting of leaders from international research institutes took place in Urumqi.
Representatives from the Soil Science and Agrochemistry Research Institute attended the meeting.
The main agenda items focused on enhancing collaboration among research institutes across various countries in fields such as artificial intelligence, ecology, energy, and agriculture. It also emphasized developing and executing joint projects and increasing the exchange of knowledge and experience.
Important initiatives were proposed, including support for young scientists, joint use of research infrastructure, and contributions to global and regional sustainable development through science.
Particular attention was paid to the participation of soil scientists from Uzbekistan in the event. It was noted that their participation would play an important role in the development and implementation of new international research projects.
Talks were held with representatives of Chinese agricultural universities, and agreements were reached to strengthen cooperation.
