Kazakhstan delegation studies Uzbekistan’s customs system
The delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan made an official visit to the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the guests were informed about ongoing reforms to modernize Uzbekistan’s customs authorities, including the adoption of international standards and best practices.
The delegation members became familiar with the work processes of remote electronic declaration posts, risk targeting and monitoring centers, and a call center.
The structure and algorithms of the targeting and risk management system, which are crucial for effective data-based control, as well as the automated information systems developed by customs authorities, were demonstrated.
