Issues in implementing major investment projects with the UAE discussed

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with a delegation from the United Arab Emirates, led by Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei.

The minister conveyed to the President of Uzbekistan sincere greetings and best wishes from the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed Al Nahyan, the Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled Al Nahyan.

The dynamic development of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the UAE was particularly noted.

Trade turnover, investment volumes, and the number of joint ventures are growing. As part of the Fifth Tashkent Investment Forum, several new agreements with UAE companies are expected to be signed.

An agreement was reached to accelerate the implementation of major projects in areas such as green energy, fuel production, transportation, logistics, artificial intelligence, and digitalization.
