Heating system of the Qirguli residential area to be modernized with support from France
As part of the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum, Issiqlik Taminoti JSC and the French Development Agency signed a Memorandum of Understanding to modernize the heating supply system, expand financial and technical cooperation, and introduce modern energy-efficient solutions.
The document outlines the phased renewal of heating supply infrastructure, improved energy efficiency, and the introduction of public-private partnership mechanisms.
The cooperation is particularly important for introducing modern approaches to managing utility systems and for reducing technological losses. As a pilot project, the heating supply system of the Qirguli residential area in Fergana is planned for modernization. A total of 76 kilometers of heating networks will be reconstructed, and 380 individual heating substations will be installed in apartment buildings and social facilities.
The main goal is to ensure an uninterrupted supply of heating and hot water, significantly reduce heat energy losses, and introduce environmentally safe and energy-efficient technologies.
