Gulistan State Pedagogical Institute’s delegation gains more experience in China
A group from Gulistan State Pedagogical Institute, including teachers and students, is participating in an international scientific and educational program at Wenzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology.
The participants explored the college’s academic buildings, laboratories, and innovation centers. They were especially interested in how the educational process is organized and how it effectively combines theoretical and practical training.

According to Nurbek Ayakulov, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at the institute, the program from June 1 to 28 aims to enhance international collaboration in education, learn best practices, and boost participants’ professional skills. During the “Insect Specimen Production” course led by Pan Sufeng, attendees explored the scientific principles behind preparing entomological specimens and their application in research. This theoretical learning was complemented by hands-on laboratory sessions.

Special attention was given to China’s cultural heritage as the delegation learned about the country’s national traditions and culture. They visited historical monuments, museums, and cultural centers in Wenzhou, deepening their understanding of the region’s history and tourism opportunities.

Additionally, representatives from Wenzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology, Gulistan State Pedagogical Institute, and Tashkent State Agrarian University met to discuss future collaboration in education and science. They explored joint projects and ways to enhance academic exchanges. The students showcased Uzbek culture through performances of traditional music and songs, highlighting the country’s rich cultural heritage and the talents of its youth.
