Gastronomic Tourism Street established in Andijan

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the gastronomic tourism street in Urikzor mahalla of Andijan.

The total cost of the project, covering Mashrab and Sarikuy streets, is 18 billion UZS. Of this amount, 8 billion UZS was allocated from the national budget, and 10 billion UZS was provided by entrepreneurs.

The street stretches for a total of 1.2 kilometers. Spacious, safe pedestrian and bicycle paths have been developed, modern landscaping has been implemented, and fountains and various lighting features have been installed. Selfie zones, outdoor sports grounds, eco-friendly children’s playgrounds, and family recreation areas have also been created.

Along the street, 35 commercial facilities house 30 businesses that operate around the clock. The project has created 100 new jobs. The street is designed to accommodate more than 10,000 residents and tourists per day.

The Head of State walked along the street and held sincere conversations with residents and entrepreneurs.
