From language to profession and career in the global job market
Tashkent hosted BerufsEXPO 2026, bringing together representatives from Germany and Uzbekistan, employers, and young people seeking sought-after professions and entry into the international labor market.
The event was attended by the diplomatic mission of Germany, Migration Agency leadership, more than 40 employers, and professional education organizations from both countries.
The exhibition attracted significant interest from young people, with over 2,500 youth registrations.
The exhibition provided a venue for direct engagement with experts and employers. Participants could discover the most sought-after occupations in the German job market, learn about qualification requirements, assess their professional potential, and identify areas for further training.

Special attention was paid to combining language proficiency, vocational education, and professional qualifications. Such an approach enables young professionals to enhance their competitiveness and broaden their career prospects abroad.
In a changing labor market, professional qualifications are becoming increasingly important. Knowledge of a foreign language, combined with a high-demand profession and practical skills, expands opportunities for specialists and allows them to qualify for a wider range of vacancies.
BerufsEXPO 2026 became one of the venues where young people could learn about international labor market requirements and professional development opportunities, and employers could find qualified professionals.
