Durdona Boynazarova attends the UNESCO Digital Learning Week in Paris
As the use of artificial intelligence in education continues to expand, the impact of these technologies on educators’ work, the teacher’s role in the learning process, and the importance of the human factor have become pressing issues on the international education agenda.
UNESCO Digital Learning Week, titled “Education in the age of AI: Facts | Frictions | Frontiers”, took place in Paris.
This prestigious event brought together educators, experts, and educational representatives from numerous countries. Discussions focused on the opportunities AI presents in education, the challenges of implementing this technology, and how to use technology effectively in the learning process.
For the first time in the event’s 15-year history, schoolteachers participated alongside education ministers. Uzbekistan’s Durdona Boynazarova, an English teacher at the Presidential School in Termez, also addressed the event. She noted that as AI becomes more integrated into the educational process, teachers’ experience and pedagogical approach play a key role. New technologies can expand educational opportunities. At the same time, students’ independent thinking, creativity, and the student-teacher bond remain essential.
Durdona Boynazarova’s participation in Paris was another example of Uzbek school teachers’ active involvement in the international educational arena. During the conference, she presented the teacher’s perspective not only on her educational institution and Uzbekistan, but also on the common challenges facing modern education.
Durdona Boynazarova has won several national and international competitions. Her students are also achieving notable results at regional and national subject Olympiads.
