Cooperation with Pakistan strengthens
A delegation led by Hokim of Navoi region Normat Tursunov is on a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
On the first day of the visit, the delegation held talks with the Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah.
Issues of strengthening economic ties between the regions and increasing trade volumes were discussed at the meeting.


The parties agreed to consistently continue practical work on the creation of joint ventures and the implementation of promising investment projects.
At the Navoi – Sindh Business Forum, held in Karachi, businesspeople from the two regions identified new areas for mutually beneficial cooperation.
During the forum, detailed information was provided on the investment potential of Navoi region, free economic zones, a favorable business environment, and opportunities for foreign investors.


The potential in mining, the chemical industry, construction materials production, energy, and agriculture was particularly emphasized.
B2B and G2B meetings held within the framework of the business forum provided a direct dialogue between entrepreneurs. Practical proposals were put forward to implement joint projects, expand exports, and diversify logistics routes.
The delegation's meetings with representatives of international companies are also productive. In particular, during the dialogue with the leadership of Omni Group of Companies, the possibilities for partnerships in industry, energy, and aviation were discussed.


The parties expressed interest in introducing advanced technologies, establishing joint production facilities, and increasing investment.
During negotiations with the leadership of Nova Leathers (Pvt.) Ltd., one of the leading enterprises in the leather industry, prospects for cooperation in areas such as the production of finished products, technology exchange, and the production of export-oriented goods were considered.


The delegation members became familiar with the enterprise’s production processes and highly appreciated the quality of its products.
