Cooperation between prosecutor’s offices strengthens
The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nigmatilla Yuldashev attended the 36th meeting of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of the CIS Member States in Kazan, Russia. The event addressed current issues and innovative approaches to identifying and returning assets illegally transferred abroad.
The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan delivered a report titled “The experience of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of asset recovery from abroad”.
Following the meeting, relevant decisions were made that identified the main directions for further development and the strengthening of cooperation among the prosecutor’s offices of the CIS member states.

During the meeting, Mr. Yuldashev met with the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, Alexander Gutsan.
The parties discussed issues related to strengthening cooperation, sharing best practices, and improving coordination among law enforcement agencies.
During the visit to Russia, the Uzbekistan delegation also attended the 24th meeting of the Prosecutors General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States. Topics included protecting families and minors, strengthening traditional family values, ensuring children’s rights, and improving mechanisms to counter violence against women and children and other emerging threats.

During the event, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Uzbekistan delivered a report titled “Protection of traditional family values and prevention of the spread of destructive content among minors”.
Following the meeting, attended by the prosecutors general of Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, and Tajikistan, the participants signed a protocol to strengthen cooperation within the SCO framework.
