Chess: Nodirbek Abdusattarov ranked fourth at the Quantbox Chennai Grand Masters 2026

India hosted the Quantbox Chennai Grand Masters 2026.

In the seventh round, Uzbekistan’s Nodirbek Abdusattarov, who played with black pieces, lost the match against Dmitry Andreikin of Russia. As a result, he scored 3.5 points and placed fourth.

The main contender for the victory, the French grandmaster Alireza Firouzja, drew with Arjun Erigaisi (India) in the last round with white pieces and won the tournament with 4.5 points.

D. Andreikin occupied second place, and A. Erigaisi – third place.
