Briefing on the occasion of the SCO’s 25th anniversary

A briefing, attended by local and foreign media, took place in Tashkent and was organized by the SCO Center for Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan. The event was held to mark the 25th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s establishment.

Qabuljon Sabirov, Director of the center, informed participants about activities in the cultural and humanitarian spheres, its priorities and achievements, as well as planned projects by the end of this year.

During the press conference, media representatives exchanged views on the prospects for developing bilateral and multilateral relations between the SCO Center for Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan and the media.

Summing up, Mr. Sabirov expressed gratitude to the event participants for their active and fruitful coverage of articles and events held by the Center. He also expressed hope that further cooperation will be more fruitful and effective, which will increase efforts to develop multilateral cultural-humanitarian cooperation within the SCO.
