Are you flying from Fergana to Afghanistan?

Kam Air is one of the largest private airlines in Afghanistan. Founded by entrepreneur Zamaray Kamgar in 2003, it was the country's first private commercial airline.

Kam Air operates flights to 15 cities across the Middle East, Central, and South Asia, in addition to its domestic routes within Afghanistan.

Uzbekistan is also a key destination for Kam Air. As of July 2, 2026, flights from Kabul to Tashkent have been operating three times a week. This serves as a vital transport corridor for passenger, business, and trade relations between the two countries. In this regard, Kam Air's flights to Tashkent are important not only for Afghan citizens but also for passengers traveling to Central Asia via Uzbekistan. Another significant aspect is that Kam Air has maintained its domestic and international operations despite the wars, political instability, and disruptions in international transport links in Afghanistan.

As is known, Fergana has become Uzbekistan's largest air gateway after Tashkent and Samarkand. Kam Air now intends to open a direct passenger and cargo air corridor from Afghan cities to Fergana, the center of the valley. To this end, a delegation led by the head of the airline, Omar Mohammad Sulaymon, visited Fergana. During an official reception, the regional governor, Khayrullo Bozorov, expressed his support for the proposal and the new project. Thus, Fergana could become the second city in Uzbekistan with flights to Afghanistan.
