Arda Khiva: a new brand on the international tourism stage
An important cooperation agreement to promote one of Uzbekistan’s largest tourism projects – the Arda Khiva tourist complex – in international markets was signed during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
The agreement between Cronwell Development, one of Russia’s leading companies in tourism infrastructure management and development, and Ostrovok, Russia’s largest online travel aggregator, marks a new stage in the international promotion of the multifunctional Arda Khiva tourist complex in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan.

This partnership is viewed as a practical outcome of the large-scale reforms initiated by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and aimed at modernizing the country’s tourism infrastructure, integrating historical and cultural heritage into global tourism routes, and increasing the flow of foreign tourists.

Under the agreements reached, the parties will work together to promote the Arda Khiva complex in the Russian and other promising markets, develop new tourism products, participate in international exhibitions and forums, and expand business contacts and partnerships.
According to experts, the agreement will help expand Uzbekistan’s tourism exports, increase tourist traffic from Russia, and strengthen the international appeal of ancient Khiva as one of the region’s key tourist centers.

Experts note that this partnership creates new opportunities not only for the Arda Khiva complex but also for the entire tourism industry of Khorezm region and Uzbekistan as a whole. This contributes to the broader promotion of the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage, modern tourism infrastructure, and Uzbekistan’s open investment policy on the international stage.
