A high-tech cluster for processing industrial waste to be created in Uzbekistan

Aziz Abdukhakimov, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Ecology and Chairman of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, met with representatives of Vision Invest and SUEZ International.

The parties discussed implementing a project to create a high-tech cluster for industrial waste management. In particular, they considered issues related to completing the preliminary feasibility study, selecting technological solutions to convert waste into resources, and preparing the site for the cluster’s construction.

During the meeting, it was noted that this joint project had already been presented to the Head of State, who gave it a positive assessment and support.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to sign an investment agreement as part of the Eco Expo Central Asia 2026 international exhibition, which will be held on June 2-4 in Samarkand.
