Uzbekistan’s unique experience in parliamentary diplomacy presented
The 2nd Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference, titled “Solidarity for Peace and Shared Prosperity: Strengthening International Law and Resolving Conflicts Peacefully”, was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Uzbekistan delegation, led by Abdulhakim Eshmurodov, Chairperson of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on Judicial and Legal Issues and Anti-Corruption, participated in the event.

At the international conference, parliamentary representatives from Cambodia, Pakistan, Russia, Belarus, Mexico, Ghana, Brunei, Myanmar, and other nations discussed ways to enhance peace and security, advance parliamentary diplomacy, and broaden international collaboration.

During the conference, Mr. Eshmurodov highlighted Uzbekistan’s unique experience in parliamentary diplomacy. He mentioned that the atmosphere of good neighborliness, mutual trust, and practical cooperation within Central Asia has significantly improved. Special focus is given to solving complex problems through constructive dialogue and negotiations.
During the event, King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia held a meeting with the delegation from the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan. They discussed their bilateral cooperation agenda.


The delegation of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan also met with representatives of the parliaments of Russia, Belarus, and Vietnam. The discussions focused on developing and strengthening interparliamentary ties.
In addition, the parliamentarians visited an exhibition featuring products presented under Cambodia’s national brand.
