Uzbekistan’s athletes win 6 medals at Asian Weightlifting Championships
The Asian Weightlifting Championships, which brought together 172 athletes from 28 countries, have concluded in the Indian city of Gandhinagar.
Representatives of Uzbekistan’s national team, led by Jurabek Zoirov and Abror Tojimirzayev, won 1 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medal.
Sarvar Zafarjonov won the gold medal in the up to 88 kg weight category. Muhammadqodir Toshtemirov won three silver medals in the up to 94 kg weight category. Amir Abdullayev won the silver medal in the +110 kg weight category, while Abdulaziz Alimjonov claimed the bronze medal in the weight category up to 79 kg.
