Uzbekistan – Tatarstan: A new stage of cooperation

Important visits to strengthen international cooperation, further improve the investment climate, and implement new industrial projects continue in Bukhara region.

One such significant event was the working visit by the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The guest was welcomed at Bukhara International Airport by the regional Hokim Botir Zaripov, along with other officials.

The delegation visited the Bahauddin Naqshband Complex and learned about the life and work of the great thinker. The improvements and development of the complex carried out in recent years at the President’s initiative, as well as the modern conditions created for pilgrims, made a particular impression.

Rustam Minnikhanov also became acquainted with the Bukhara Industrial Development Complex, which is currently under development.

During the visit, a detailed exchange of views took place on enhancing industrial and export potential, attracting foreign direct investment, expanding production of high-value-added goods, and intensifying interregional trade and economic ties.

Rustam Minnikhanov’s visit to Bukhara became an important step toward strengthening mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation, implementing new investment projects, and transforming Bukhara into a major industrial center.
