Uzbekistan and the United States expand investment cooperation in geology

The First Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan Feruza Hamidova met with a delegation from the U.S. Center for the National Interest.

The parties discussed the efficient use of critical minerals in industry and prospects for expanding investment cooperation in mining and geology.

According to the ministry, the discussions also focused on developing the country’s mineral resource base, expanding geological exploration activities and introducing modern technologies into the sector.

Following the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and implementing promising projects.
