Uzbekistan and India plan to strengthen humanitarian cooperation
Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, met with Asmita Satyarthi, CEO of the Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion, on the sidelines of the 12th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
The meeting centered on expanding humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and India.
The discussion focused on sharing experiences on protecting children’s rights, assisting children in need, and organizing joint seminars, expert meetings, and parliamentary discussions.
Discussions also covered ways to strengthen women’s roles in society, support emerging female leaders, and foster social leadership.
