UzA strengthens dialogue with compatriots in the United States and Canada
Uzbekistan National News Agency hosted a meeting with Ozod Soliyev, Chairman of Vatan Global Alliance in the United States.
Vatan Global Alliance actively engages with Uzbek diaspora organizations in the United States. Its leadership focuses on organizing meetings, forums, exhibitions, and other socio-economic, cultural, and educational events involving Uzbek diaspora representatives and delegations from Uzbekistan’s ministries, agencies, and regions. These gatherings often lead to the signing of documents and agreements to carry out joint projects.
At the meeting, it was noted that UzA consistently reports on the lives, achievements, and initiatives of compatriots living in the United States and Canada. It also covers young people’s success in education and professional growth, as well as business and investment projects and cultural and enlightenment events.

Such cooperation helps achieve two important objectives at once. On the one hand, compatriots living abroad receive timely information about developments and events in Uzbekistan from a reliable source. On the other hand, the public in Uzbekistan has an opportunity to learn more about the activities of compatriots who succeed through their knowledge, professionalism, and hard work.
Mr. Soliyev states that our compatriots in the United States and Canada follow the reforms in New Uzbekistan with keen interest, including its socio-economic progress, international initiatives, and socio-political developments. He emphasizes that direct cooperation with Uzbekistan National News Agency is crucial for obtaining accurate, timely information. No matter the distance, people want to stay updated on their homeland’s news and changes, which requires a trustworthy source. Moreover, many overseas compatriots excel in various fields such as science, education, business, medicine, and technology. A close partnership with UzA provides an effective platform for exchanging information.
Director General of Uzbekistan National News Agency Abdusaid Kuchimov highlighted the importance of using modern media tools to sustain ongoing, effective communication with expatriates.

A crucial step forward will involve UzA’s public correspondent in the United States. This is outlined in the Memorandum of Cooperation between Uzbekistan National News Agency and Vatan Global Alliance, signed during the recent presentation of the book “Millat Shavkati” (“The Nation’s Glory”) in the United States.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue on priority areas of cooperation and turn the proposals into concrete, practical projects.
