Turan melodies sounded in Fergana

The international gala concert “Vodiydan Turon Sadosi” (“Melodies of Turan in the Valley”) was held in the Theater and Concert Palace named after Islam Karimov in Fergana region.

Fergana region’s Deputy Hokim Khurshidjon Akhmedov opened the event.

The large-scale cultural event, which celebrated the rich cultural heritage, national art, and common values of the Turkic peoples, brought together artists, folklore groups, and dance ensembles from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Türkiye on a single stage.

Deputy Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOY Sayit Yusuf noted that the common history, language and culture of the Turkic peoples play a key role in strengthening friendship between peoples. Such cultural projects help strengthen cohesion and foster cooperation.

The gala concert became a glorification of the unity of the Turkic peoples and common cultures.
