The land was blessed with abundance.
A single seed planted in the soil is the beginning of a future harvest. Behind it lies the farmer's arduous labor, the value of water, adherence to agrotechnical standards, and the noble hope for a bountiful yield. It is with such aspirations that the grain sowing season for the 2027 harvest has commenced in the Bayaut district.
To mark the start of the season, a practical seminar was held at the "Doston Bobur" farm. It was attended by Zafar Kholikberdiyev, Deputy Governor of Boyovut district for Agriculture and Water Management, as well as agricultural officials, specialists, agronomists, and heads of farms.

The event began with a prayer for a bountiful and prosperous harvest, followed by the planting of the first grain seeds. The seminar focused on strict adherence to agrotechnical requirements for grain sowing, proper selection and preparation of seeds, high-quality soil preparation, timely planting, efficient water use, standard application of mineral fertilizers, and crop maintenance.

As experts emphasized, achieving high yields requires the timely and high-quality implementation of every agrotechnical measure, the rational use of water resources, and the selection of high-yielding, early-maturing wheat varieties suited to the region's climate.
Last season, early-maturing and high-yielding wheat varieties suitable for the local climate were sown on 11,500 hectares in the district. As a result, the contractual grain delivery plan was fully met, with nearly 40,000 tons of high-quality grain delivered to state grain reception enterprises. The timely and high-quality implementation of agrotechnical measures, rational water use, and the well-organized execution of the harvest were key factors in this success.

To ensure a timely and high-quality harvest, 19 reaping teams were formed, deploying 38 modern combine harvesters and 150 transport vehicles. Thanks to the dedicated work of experienced machine operators and workers, several farms achieved high yields. Specifically, the "Shohrux Zaynura," "Bekzod Obloqulov," "Boyovut samarasi," "Ro'ziboy Odilovich," "Abdug'ani Kattaboy," and "O'rinboyev Sarvarbek" farms harvested 70–80 centners per hectare.
"Today's practical seminar was very useful for us. The results of the past season were analyzed, and important recommendations were given for the new harvest. The guidance on implementing agrotechnical measures on schedule, using high-quality seeds, making efficient use of land and water resources, and maintaining the crops is especially important for us," says Bekzod Obloqulov, head of the "Bekzod Obloqulov" farm. "By following these recommendations, we aim to achieve even better results next season."

Currently, such efforts are continuing steadily not only in Boyovut district but in all parts of the province. In the fields, grain seeds for the 2027 harvest are being sown, laying the foundation for the new season.
