The impact of artificial intelligence on competition policy under discussion
A delegation from the Competition Promotion and Consumer Protection Committee of Uzbekistan took part in an international workshop in Moscow titled “Artificial Intelligence and BRICS Competition Policy”.
The event aims to enhance government officials’ professional knowledge in artificial intelligence.
Issues related to the impact of artificial intelligence on competition policy, pricing algorithms, and antimonopoly regulation in the digital economy were discussed at the event.
The seminar provided participants with an opportunity to learn about international best practices. Through the exchange of experience with experts from Russia, China, India, Brazil, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Iran, Ethiopia, and other countries, Uzbekistan’s specialists have mastered innovative approaches.
As part of the event, specialized training sessions were organized to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical skills. The participants explored specific mechanisms for using artificial intelligence to analyze the market and monitor the competitive environment.
