Tashkent to host Swimming World Cup stage

Tashkent will host a stage of the Swimming World Cup from October 8-10 as part of the 2026 World Aquatics competition calendar.

The competition will be the second stage of the international “Silk Road” series. Uzbekistan will host an aquatics tournament at this level for the first time. The event will serve as the final stage of preparations for coaches and athletes ahead of the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) in Beijing in December.

More than 400 athletes, coaches, and officials from the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa are expected to take part in the competition.
