South Korean tourist arrivals in Uzbekistan rise by 21.7%

Uzbekistan welcomed 6,385 South Korean visitors in the first two months of 2026, the National Statistics Committee reports.

The figure reflects an increase of 1,187 people, or 21.7%, compared with January-February 2025. The majority of arrivals were for tourism (4,682), while others visited relatives (987) or traveled for educational reasons (679). A small number of visitors came for official engagements (22) and for medical treatment (15).
