On June 2-4 this year, the international exhibition Eco Expo Central Asia 2026 will be held at the Silk Road Samarkand complex’s expo center as part of the 8th Assembly of the Global Environment Facility.
The event is being organized by the National Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Ecology and Climate Change, in collaboration with Business Congress Management, and aims to strengthen environmental sustainability, develop a green economy, introduce innovative environmental technologies, and expand international cooperation in sustainable development and environmental protection.
This year, about 10,000 representatives from Uzbekistan and other countries, along with leaders from international organizations such as the Global Green Growth Institute, the Asian Development Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, are expected to participate.
More than 68 pavilions dedicated to environmental products will be featured as part of the exhibition.
To showcase innovative developments by eco-innovators, 20 additional pavilions will be dedicated to startup projects from Central Asian countries.
The exhibition will also feature more than 50 thematic forums, presentations, and discussion platforms dedicated to issues such as green energy, waste recycling, water resource management, climate change adaptation, and sustainable development.
