Saida Mirziyoyeva addresses the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly
The Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva addressed the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly, outlining the country’s position on key global and regional issues.
The speech focused on international security, confidence-building and cooperation, and ongoing changes in Central Asia.
“From the rostrum of this organization, I spoke about Uzbekistan’s position in a world facing more conflicts and less trust. Our choice is clear – openness, good-neighborliness, and dialogue. We stand for peace, cooperation, and respect for human dignity”, noted Saida Mirziyoyeva.
The address also covered Uzbekistan’s reforms, the environmental crisis including the Aral Sea tragedy, AI development, strengthening the rule of law, and human rights protection.
Saida Mirziyoyeva noted that addressing current global challenges requires collaborative efforts among nations.
“Today, no country can address global challenges alone. Uzbekistan is prepared to contribute to a world founded on trust and mutual respect”, she stated.
