Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan discuss the bilateral agenda

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The President of Kazakhstan warmly congratulated the Leader of Uzbekistan on his birthday and sincerely wished him good health, family well-being, and continued success in his service to the state for the benefit of the fraternal people of Uzbekistan.

The two leaders discussed the further development and strengthening of good-neighborly relations, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

The growing momentum of mutually beneficial cooperation across all areas, including expanding bilateral trade and advancing major cooperation projects in priority sectors, was noted with satisfaction.

The Presidents also exchanged views on the current regional agenda and reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
