President of Uzbekistan arrives in Astana

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Astana.

At the capital’s airport, the President of Uzbekistan was welcomed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and other officials.

Tomorrow, November 6, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in a meeting of the heads of Central Asian states as part of the Aqaba Process on ensuring security in the field of artificial intelligence, countering its use for terrorist and extremist purposes, and strengthening international and regional cooperation in addressing new technological challenges and threats.
