President of Germany concludes his visit to Uzbekistan
The President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier has concluded his official visit to Uzbekistan.
The two-day visit program was intensive and substantive. The leaders of Uzbekistan and Germany held talks in a contracted format, with the participation of delegations. As part of the visit, several new joint projects and programs were launched.

Following the talks, the heads of state adopted a Joint Statement confirming their intention to strengthen multifaceted cooperation. A bilateral document exchange ceremony was also held. Agreements were signed in the field of financial cooperation, providing for the allocation of grant funds and concessional financing to implement sustainable urban development projects in Uzbekistan.

On the second day of the visit, Frank-Walter Steinmeier became acquainted with the exhibitions at the Islamic Civilization Center and visited the joint venture Papenburg Uzbekistan.

The distinguished guest was seen off at Tashkent-Humo International Airport by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Achilbay Ramatov, and other officials.
