President of Albania to pay official visit to Uzbekistan

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj, together with his spouse, will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on June 16-17.

As part of the visit program, high-level discussions will take place in Tashkent to explore opportunities for expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Albania.

The focus will be on expanding partnership in priority areas such as trade, industrial cooperation, agriculture, green energy, and tourism. Issues related to intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchanges will also be considered.

The parties will exchange views on issues on the international agenda, including mutual support on multilateral platforms.

As part of the visit program, the President of Albania will also take part in the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
