Ozodbek Nazarbekov: “Today we are being received with warmth and special respect”
The international image of Uzbekistan has undergone noticeable changes in recent years. The country is increasingly perceived as open, reliable, and respected, as reflected in the reception accorded to Uzbekistan delegations abroad.
This was stated by the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, Ozodbek Nazarbekov, in an interview, noting that these positive changes are especially evident during foreign visits.
“If we compare the period of 2018-2020 with our visits to foreign countries in 2025, we can clearly see how the world’s attitude toward Uzbekistan has changed. These changes are felt through personal experience. Step by step, thanks to the consistent reforms initiated by our respected President, the doors of many countries have opened wide to Uzbeks. Today, we are met with genuine warmth and respect”, noted Ozodbek Nazarbekov. “During visits, we are received with special honors –figuratively speaking, a carpet is rolled out before us. These changes bring joy and instill a sense of pride in every citizen of Uzbekistan. They testify to the main point – the world is beginning to recognize our country and to trust the deep reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan. And it is precisely this trust that today represents our most significant achievement”.
