New investment projects discussed
To develop the agricultural sector and expand investment cooperation in Navbakhor district of Navoi region, the district Hokim, Alisher Rashidov, met with representatives of Xinjiang Huier Agricultural Group.
The projects of Zhonghua Hutubi Tashkent Green Land, operating in Uzbekistan to cultivate medicinal plants, develop land effectively, and introduce advanced agricultural technologies in Navbakhor district, were presented. Special attention was paid to the economic importance of these initiatives. The parties noted that implementing the projects will create jobs, ensure employment for the population, and increase agricultural output.
Issues related to the rational use of water resources, the widespread adoption of drip irrigation systems, and the achievement of high yields were also discussed.
Chinese investors have announced plans to cultivate medicinal plants using advanced technologies while efficiently using land resources.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to strengthen investment cooperation.
