New initiatives proposed to strengthen tourism cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus
A session titled “Tourism dialogue: from potential to concrete joint projects”, held in Khiva as part of the Fourth Business Forum of Women Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Belarus, focused on boosting tourist flows between the two countries.
Participants discussed the development of new tourism products and joint travel routes, as well as further improvements to the quality of services.
During the discussions, several proposals were made to develop joint tourism products that combine the tourism potential of both countries and promote them together in third-country markets.
The session brought together representatives of government agencies responsible for tourism in both countries, tour operators, the hotel industry, educational institutions, and the private sector. At its conclusion, several agreements and memoranda were signed to strengthen tourism cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus.
