New goals for the new school year
A solemn ceremony dedicated to the opening of the 2026-2027 academic year was held at the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Ajiniyaz.
The event was attended by esteemed teachers, the institute's community, students and their parents, and media representatives.
The beginning of the new academic year is a significant event in both our educational process and our social life, one that directs our youth toward new goals.
The great attention paid in our independent country to the education and upbringing of youth and the development of science places a significant responsibility on today's specialists in the field. As a result of the wide-ranging opportunities created through the President's care, all conditions are being established at the institute to form a modern educational environment, support young people, and bring their initiatives and ideas to fruition.

The commissioning of the institute's new academic building with modern amenities, student dormitories, modern sports complexes, and laboratories equipped with the latest technology will undoubtedly serve to help future generations deeply master the secrets of science and develop into a physically and intellectually mature generation.

Among the tens of thousands of young people from our country who wished to study at the Pedagogical Institute—the first higher education institution in Karakalpakstan with a history of over 90 years—more than 2,200 were recommended for admission to full-time and evening bachelor's degree programs, and nearly 370 to full-time and evening master's specializations.
"Today is the most unforgettable day of my life, because I have become a student of this institute. This is a center of science and enlightenment, an educational institution that lays the foundation for young people's dreams to come true. I have been active as a leader in the Youth Union system for several years. Thanks to my work in this area, and based on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 14, 2017, 'On Providing Benefits for Active Members of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan for Admission to Higher Educational Institutions,' I was admitted on a state grant to study in the field of National Idea, Foundations of Spirituality, and Law Education. Heroes of Uzbekistan, academicians, and state and public figures have emerged from this institution and served our people. I aimed to study at this educational institution, taking their path as an example. Today, I have achieved my goal. Of course, I intend to further improve my knowledge and skills at the institute and contribute to the development of our country's education sector in the future," says Qiyas Yerejepbayev.

At the event, esteemed teachers and young people who were admitted to the institute on a preferential basis and with high scores on a state grant spoke, highlighting the conditions created in our country for young people to receive higher education, learn a profession, engage in science, and realize their potential. They also expressed their gratitude to the head of our state.
The new academic year at the institute continues with "Independence Lessons" and "Orientation Week."
